When development occurs within the 100-yr or 500-yr floodplain, we are required to mitigate any fill placed in the floodplain. We design the lot or site to mitigate the floodplain fill by expanding the detention or providing the mitigation off site.

Drainage area maps and calculations are a key component of civil designs. We perform these calculations as required by the reviewing agency and add them to the plans.
